Bill Grant has served as Mayor of Canton, Georgia, bringing visionary leadership to both public service and the creative community. He is President and Chief Creative Officer of Grant Design Collaborative, an internationally recognized branding and marketing firm.

Before his mayoral term, Bill made history as the first designer from the South to serve as National President of AIGA (the professional association for design) and was later named an AIGA Fellow and honored among Graphic Design USA’s “50 Most Influential Designers Working Today.”

As Mayor, Bill has championed smart growth, historic preservation, youth civic engagement, and the intersection of creativity and commerce—making him a natural fit to speak to a community of creatives and business owners.

Do I have to be a “professional creative” to join?

Not at all! Whether you’re a full-time creative professional, small business owner, side-hustler, or just someone who loves creativity, you’re welcome here. Our community thrives on all kinds of creative energy.

How often do you host events?

We host in-person meetups a every month (and we’re growing!). Each event is designed to help creatives and business owners connect, share ideas, and spark real collaborations.

Is there a cost to attend or join?

Most of our gatherings are free to attend, thanks to community partnerships and local support. Occasionally, we may host ticketed events to help cover the cost of guest speakers or special experiences, but don’t worry, you’ll always know in advance. Just RSVP, show up, and come ready to meet your people!
