Sylvia Smith

Sylvia Smith is an illustrator and product designer based in Woodstock, Georgia, creating cheerful, whimsical products designed to make people smile. With a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati and more than 15 years of professional experience, she combines her design background with a passion for illustration to create colorful, character-filled work with a playful sense of humor.

Inspired by nature, food, travel, and pop culture, Sylvia’s work is known for its bright colors, cute characters, and unique artistic style. She is a proud Maker Mama who loves that her creative career gives her the flexibility to spend time with her son while continuing to design products that bring joy to others.

Over the years, she has created products and illustrations for clients including Chick-fil-A, Kroger, Pottery Barn Kids, Fisher-Price, Kids II, Georgia Pacific, Accent Decor, IG Design Group (Target, TJ Maxx, Aldi, Five Below, and Walmart), and more. You can often find her and her brand, Sylvia Draws, at art and craft markets around the Atlanta area.

How often do you host events?

We host in-person meetups a every month (and we’re growing!). Each event is designed to help creatives and business owners connect, share ideas, and spark real collaborations.

Is there a cost to attend or join?

Most of our gatherings are free to attend, thanks to community partnerships and local support. Occasionally, we may host ticketed events to help cover the cost of guest speakers or special experiences, but don’t worry, you’ll always know in advance. Just RSVP, show up, and come ready to meet your people!
